I would like to make this ahead of time. Any idea how long it can sit in the fridge? (As long as it isnt found by others!)
Reply
Nicole Harris says
It is good for a couple 2-3 days in the fridge. In fact, I think it tastes better after sitting for a day.

Thank you for this recipe Nicole! It looks so delicious. It looks like something out of a commercial in those pictures you posted. Making my mouth water. Can’t wait to try this at home! Pickles are one of my favorites, so having it in a dip sounds delish. Thanks again!

I make a similar dip, however I don’t use dill or sour cream. I use ketchup and black pepper. It’s delicious and when my friends tried it, they all wanted the recipe.

Excellent recipe. I’m adding it to my personal recipe collection to put in rotation. We’ve made it several times in the last 6 months…and it is a hit at our weekly church potluck. My lazy self started using dill pickle relish as opposed to all that pickle chopping. Tastes just the same, but saves a lot of time. I’m glad you shared this!

This looks good, but you said to use full fat sour cream – is there a reason for that? Does it affect the consistency? I was thinking of substituting fa*ge 5% Greek yogurt for the sour cream and using low fat cream cheese.

That will work 🙂

This was a such yummy, refreshing dip! I was in a little hurry to make it; I will say it is so much better the next day or after a few hours chilled. I did add a little Bacon and Chive seasoning I had on hand to substitute my in a rush this needs to taste good and set for an appetizer and it really hit the spot!
