Chapter 1.- New Life, Origin of the Superheroes.
[T/N: I know people don't like god scenes so I will show where it ends and explain what happens if you want to skip it.]
After a flash, I opened my eyes to find myself surrounded by a familiar darkness, yet a voice in the back of my head warned me that I wasn't alone.
"I am glad that you lived such a long life" Lifting my head I saw a woman dressed in black slowly descending to stand in front of me.
Looking at her carefully, I couldn't help asking, "You... do I know you?" She just raised her hand to touch my cheek.
"Don't worry, everything will be explained... right now!" At the same moment that a headache came it was gone again.
"Lady Death, it's a pleasure to see you again" She returned my smile while I moved her hand.
"You are one of the few beings in the multiverse who could honestly say that" I couldn't help but laugh a little at those words, when I calmed down I spoke again.
"Ah, it's an honor to see you again, I can't hide that I thought we wouldn't meet again." Lady Death just made a little fist before shaking her fingers.
In a little flash of light a table and two chairs appeared in front of us, taking my hand she guided me until we both sat down.
"Well, it was planned that when you died you would enter the cycle of reincarnation, yet a problem arose that Vida and I did not consider" She took a moment to think.
"Lady Death, what's happened?" Looking at me she raised both hands and there appeared two silhouettes.
While one was red the other was blue "Imagine these are representations of your soul, the red is what died, the blue is obtained when you are reborn, when you appeared both merged" Both silhouettes overlaid to form a purple color.
"So you're saying that my new body got a soul with them both?" she just smiled as she took the new soul.
"That's correct, however, when you died those souls had to be completely separated...but not everything went as planned." Again looking at the silhouette, it had split but there was a change.
The red silhouette had a piece of blue and the blue had a red piece.
Releasing a sigh she spoke again "Both souls remained with a piece of the other, which causes that neither can enter the cycle of reincarnation." I could already see the problem, but something was off.
"I understand, but then after what happened to me, my soul or consciousness, can I still join her?" Looking at me with sorrow, she answered me.
"We can't allow you to pass on to any sort of paradise, Life and I discussed it and we came up with two solutions." She took my hand and pulled me to follow her as she stood up.
"The first option would be that you stay next to me as my companion for all eternity, however, you run the risk of losing yourself, my Job is not something for a being like you to observe" I unconsciously rejected this option, which I did not like.
As I noticed that she was coming back to me, I asked her, "And the second option?" As I stopped walking, she looked at me before shaking her fingers, and in front of me appeared the windows of the multiverse.
"The second option, is that you spend the rest of existence being reborn over and over again." Looking at the windows, I didn't notice when I let go of her hand and approached to see them.
A few minutes later I spoke to her again, "My soul, will it continue to change?" As she walked to my side, she answered me.
"It is likely, but there is no other alternative, I regret to say that they are the only options to which my sister and I came" It was obvious that the only real option was the second option.
"I choose the second option Lady Death, although it would be an honor to be by your side, I'm sure you don't want to deal with another madman." To my surprise, she smiled in a way that reminded me of some of the girls in class A.
[T/N: Huh? Is this a reference to a previous book this author has written, maybe a MHA book?]
A few minutes later I found myself staring at the different windows.
"Do you have any idea what world you would like to go to" Listening to the words of Lady Death a reminder comes to me.
"I remember a girl calling me a hero in my second life, I think I will take her words to heart and choose a world with Superheroes" A moment later with a whistling noise a large number of windows disappeared.
The vast majority were from DC and Marvel comic universes along with their variations, however one that drew my attention was about Ben 10.
"I think, I think I know what I want, I want the Omnitrix"With those words three windows approached.
In each one appeared the three versions of Omnitrix that I knew "Tell me which of the three watches you want, the prototype, the recalibrated, or the Ultimatrix" Thinking about it I came to my decision.
"I want the design of the Prototype Omnitrix but with the features of the Ultimatrix" Selecting both Lady Death brought the windows together and in a blink, the Prototype Omnitrix appeared as several holograms showed the aliens both old and new.
[T/N: I don't know why the completed isn't in here especially as this book came out 4 years after Omniverse ended.]
"I would also like to put together the DC comics universes, the animated, the Justice League, the movies, the Teen Titans, all of them" With my words, the universes with these features remained while the others disappeared.
"Tell me at what time you would like to arrive" As I saw the images pass I decided to start where it all began.
"I would like to start where the Justice League series starts, I want to take a place under my protection, Jump City since the Titans won't appear for some time it will be a good start." When I finished speaking the window showed me a great city from the perspective of an island.
"What age will you start at." Recalling a little I decided for an acceptable age.
"I want to be fifteen years old, please, I would also like a small introduction of where I will be and who I will be, in that universe."Lady Death then shook her fingers.
"Ready? Someone will tell you the basics... well it seems that's all" I stopped looking at the window and turned back to Lady Death.
When I stood in front of her I was a little surprised that she took my face with both hands "I hope you have a happy life once again." Giving me a slight kiss on my forehead my consciousness disappeared.

He's 15 years old and started at the beginning of the Justice League timeline in Jump City.]

Jump City was one of the few cities in the U.S. that did not have to suffer from constant attacks from Supervillains, the most common were the crimes that the police could combat or ones where villains from other cities appeared, so no one was alert to see how a green glow appeared on the island near the city.
On that island a body appeared when the green glow ended, the body was that of a fifteen-year-old teenager, wearing a black shirt with a white strap on the left side, black pants, and red boots.
He had a thin face and black hair, and as he recovered consciousness a pair of blue eyes slowly opened.
"W... where am I?" As my mind began to clear up, I noticed that I was lying on the floor.
As I slowly got up, I began to realize where I was, it seemed like an island, but when I got up completely and avoided stumbling, I started walking a little towards the highest part of the island.
It took me a few moments to get there, but when I got there, I got a big surprise, the island where I found myself was pretty close to a big city, while I covered my eyes it was when I noticed something on my left arm.
Lowering my arms I began to examine what seemed to be a watch on my left wrist.
It was some a bulky wristwatch, it was grey with black, in the middle it had a round plate with a symbol like a green sand clock, that plate had four buttons, it also had a larger button underneath the plate and around it, it seemed to have some white tubes.
Intrigued slightly, I touched the green symbol, a second after a small hologram came to life.
It was the hologram of a small gray-coloured being, with large, round eyes like a frog, under his mouth had some sort of tentacles, and although his body had a humanoid appearance, it was not at all proportionate, as he finished seeing the clothes he wore in his speech.
"Good day, young man, my name is Azmuth. I am an alien of the Galvan race, I know you have many questions, this hologram is programmed to answer many of them, you may start" For several minutes I stayed with my mouth open as I contemplated this so-called Azmuth.
When my head cleared up, I asked the most present question, "What's this thing on my arm?" The hologram raised his hand causing a small image of the device to appear.
"The apparatus in your hand is my greatest creation of peace, it's called the Omnitrix and is a device that allows the carrier to take the form of different alien races in order to serve as a means of understanding the universe" while speaking the hologram of the Omnitrix change to different beings.
"But...why do I have it?" In the face of that question, Azmuth put his arms behind his back before looking at me.
"A being beyond the understanding of anyone asked for my help, It explained to me that you needed a tool to bring peace to the universe, at first I refused, and it was when she showed me all the good you could do, that I decided to help"I blink, surprised by his words.
"I explained the specifications that the Omnitrix needed and it was simple" Focusing back on Azmuth's hologram "Now you may ask your next question" I had many but I thought it was better to do the more basic one.
"How does the Omnitrix work?" As I sat on the floor, the hologram began to speak.
"At the moment the configuration of the Omnitrix allows you to access the DNA of ten aliens, it also has a use and recharge period, when time passes the Omnitrix will let you access more aliens and increase the time you can use them" That surprised me.
"The top ten will enable you to survive the challenges ahead of you, do you have any other questions?" but now I had a lot to consider, the other questions he could wait for.
"For now I don't have any Azmuth, but if I need to talk to you... what should I do?" the hologram pointed at the button under the central plate.
"You just have to tap the button while you say my name, and the hologram will be activated again, for you I'll say goodbye." A moment later the Hologram disappeared.
As I considered all the information I had obtained in the last few minutes, I could only think about the entity that Azmuth had mentioned.
After thinking about the information I decided to travel to the city to get some information about where I was.
Walking towards the shore of the island I began to move the Omnitrix plate, as I looked at the images of the ten aliens I started to see if any had any feature that would allow me to swim or maybe fly.
An image caught my attention, it looked like a humanoid but on his head, which had some big teeth, was what looked like an antenna that reminded me of a fish.
I decided to take the risk so selecting it I pressed the plate back down, a second later a green flash came out of the Omnitrix.
The transformation was very fast and while I could feel my body change the feeling was painless.
When the light vanished, and I looked at my hands, I found myself with arms full of white-coloured scales, my hands had fairly large claws, and my fingers were joined by membranes.
Deciding to see myself in the water, my appearance was quite incredible, as I opened my mouth I noted the size it could stretch, and a moment later a name came to my mind.
"I think Ripjaws would be a perfect name" My voice had changed, and with a thought, I threw myself into the water, as soon as I dived my legs changed to form a large black fishtail with yellow stripes.
Recalling Azmuth's words about the timer, I began to swim quickly towards the city.
Ripjaws was a pretty fast being, so in just a few minutes I was already on the shore of the city, however, not knowing how much time was left of my form I decided to try something, coming out of the water without being seen I climbed under a small bridge.
"Let's see if it works" by tapping the Omnitrix symbol close to my left shoulder and waiting for something to happen.
A moment later in a green flash, I found myself in my human form, happy that my idea had worked.
Finding some stairs I climbed to the main street, it seemed to be early as there were very few people walking outside.
Looking at the buildings near me, I found an electronics store with some TVs plugged in.
As I walked toward the window, I began to hear what was being transmitted.
"Metropolis City once again thanks Superman for his actions yesterday when he defeated the Supervillains known as The Parasite...."
"The attack orchestrated by Captain Cold on Central City's bank was once again stopped by The Flash..."
"The menace known as Batman is a danger to our city, his appearances end in destruction..."
[T/N: WHOA! Is that Batman or Spider-man]
While I was still listening to a little bit of the news, the sound of some shots alerted me to possible problems.
Looking for the source I found myself with a car parked outside what seemed to be the bank of the city to a street far away, where more and more shots sounded, by inertia I took a step backwards.
"The police should be able to take care of it" As he walked a little to get covered he noted that the police did not appear and the thieves began to come out of the bank with several suitcases.
As they went out, they were still firing at the bank. "If the police don't arrive, those criminals could kill somebody...Maybe I should help" While I was hiding behind a wall thinking that I heard a woman's scream.
Surprisingly, I saw a subject start talking to a woman from the bank, which gave me the motivation to act.
"OK, let's see if we have someone to help" Reviewing the Omnitrix the silhouette of an alien with a shape similar to a velociraptor I mutter"I hope you're pretty strong," Making sure that nobody saw me I pressed that plate down.
In a flash, my body began to change rapidly, when it ended, I found myself in a new body.
When I walked out on the street, I realized that speed was this alien's specialty.
"Let's see if I can...my voice changed again...I better think of it later" In a moment I ran to the car of the thieves where the woman was being shoved in between screams.
"Nick, let it go, we're already late!" the driver of the car was not happy with his friend's idea.
"Shut up, Joshua, we need a hostage for protection!" While the so-called Nick was trying to get the woman into the car the other two partners were still firing at the building when a blue blur took away their weapons.
"W...What?!" another blur zipped to both subjects at the surprise of Nick, Joshua, and the woman.
Nick took the surprise of the woman to get her into the car, following her quickly, Joshua tried to use the opportunity to escape but another blue blur surrounded the car, and when he tried to start the car slipped.
Looking at the tyres, he found that they were destroyed.
"I suggest you get out of the car with your hands up," my voice warned the two offenders and the woman, all three very surprised to see me.
"W...What the hell are you?" The driver was the first to come out of his surprise as he pointed at me with his gun.
I moved fast as the guy shot, avoiding the bullets, but I couldn't let the bullets travel and hurt somebody so I caught them in the air, something difficult with my new hands.
A few seconds later the sound of an empty gun sounded as I appeared in front of the shooter.
"Grave error, friend" Grabbing him by the neck I started rapidly spinning and after a second I stopped, dropping the unconscious criminal.
[T/N: B*tch he's dead! Even if you held his neck with your hands the G-FORCES would have snapped his neck or ruptured his organs.]
The other criminal had come out of the car with the woman as a shield, when he saw that I was looking at him, he pointed the gun at my head while shouting "Back monster, if you come closer, the woman dies!" I quickly disappeared, and before he or the woman noticed it, I found myself in front of them with the gun in my hand.
Both were very surprised, the man let go of the woman as he raised his hands, and I quickly punched him several times in the chest causing him to become unconscious before falling.
[T/N: Once again, He doesn't have the speed force, that guy's lungs just collapsed, if he's lucky, if not, his heart ruptured.]
When I stopped, I saw the woman again, who jumped at my attention, "Are you all right, ma'am?" She answered me a little nervous.
"S…If that's... I think, G...Thank you" Before I could say anything, I heard several people coming out of the bank, probably the guards.
"Be careful, ma'am," I disappeared, a few seconds later I found myself in what seemed to be the city's garbage dump.
Being a little more relaxed after saving the woman, I began to check my new shape, and when I looked at my reflection in a piece of glass, I thought of a name.
"XLR8, - I have to ask Azmuth later for the names -" Looking at my head I wondered what my face would be, and a moment later the visor opened to let me see my new face.
"Interesting" a little sound alerted me to the symbol of the Omnitrix which blinked red a few times before turning me back to human.
"I'll need a timer to not be caught off guard" As I looked at the Omnitrix, a doubt came to my mind " I know how to name aliens, but what's my name?" I spend the next few minutes trying to remember a name.
After much thinking, a headache brings a name to the forefront of my mind "Maxwell...Well, I hope it's a good name because it's mine now." Looking around, I pondered before I looked at the Omnitrix, "This will be hard, but it's the right thing."

"Welcome to Channel 5, our main story, more inhabitants of our beloved city claim to have been helped by different beings, more information below..."
In the city trash heap, you could see a flaming rocky being burning a small mountain of garbage.
"...It was this diamond-like creature that created a support for the building with a pillar of...of something! It was incredible!..."
A red creature with four arms moved a pile of old cars without any problem.
"As a firefighter, we know when a fire is very difficult to extinguish, yet some creature made of fire appeared and absorbed the flames"
Several destroyed devices were being transformed by a black and green substance leaving them as new.
"How do we know these things didn't cause the fires!" Three people were arguing as they showed images of some beings.
"It's ridiculous to think that when it comes, it just turns them off and leaves!"
A shooting between officers and criminals is stopped when a blue blur appears knocking the criminals before it disappears.
"We don't know who those creatures are and even though we're grateful for their support, they should leave the work they do to the cops."
A little gray being worked on a mountain of technological parts as if it were something normal.
"Here you can see some kind of reptilic being helping rescuing the people who nearly drowned when the ship's sank" The television showed some small images of a big-mouthed being taking people to the boats.
A woman who had been rescued speaks to the cameras "I don't know who or what they are but I'm sure there are many people in the city who owe them their life just as much as I do so they have my eternal gratitude"
XLR8 was running continuously in circles until the Omnitrix began to flash red and my human form appeared.
"Let's see how long it lasts running this time" Walking towards a small apparatus I looked at the numbers that I scored.
Forty-five minutes was the time "It's a good mark" Taking the small timer that I had created with the help of two aliens I started walking to a place to eat.
A few minutes later I found myself in a small diner that was open 24/7.
Thanks to some appliances I had repaired and sold, I had some money for my daily needs.
"Some people accept the help I give them, but, normally, others don't. " While thinking about what he's done in the last few weeks we noticed how the news talked about the crusader known as Batman.
"It would be interesting to meet him" At that time I didn't know that my thought would come true some time later.

Jump City's shopping center was one of the largest buildings in the city, so it was normal to see it filled with people doing their shopping, but all those people were scared when a huge explosion came out of one of the shops.
A moment after that a non-human being came out, it was a semi-humanoid creature of brown color which was leaving a trail as it walked.
"Stop right there!" Several security guards were surrounding the creature as they pointed at it with their weapons.
"Pigs!" A few balls came out of what seemed to be clay, and he sent them all flying as he tried to drown them.
As the creature laughed at the guards a blue blur appeared cleaning them of the substance.
"What is this?" a moment later XLR8 appeared.
"I'll ask you the same thing, creature" My words seemed to bother him as with a roar he attacked me with his hands in the shape of haches.
"I'm Clayface!" by moving quickly I avoided all his attacks taking care that no civilians could be injured.
As I moved I noticed that although he was strong he wasn't fast, it was time to see if I could damage him. I approached him quickly and attacked his side with my claws, but the result only left me with a little of what seemed clay in them.
"He's completely clay, I can't do much with XLR8, let's see I have a few minutes in this form, it's time to make time" accelerating with Clayface to start running around him quickly.
The result was a blue whirlwind, and when I moved away I hid around a corner to play with the symbol of the Omnitrix, in a flash I found myself in my human form only with a new addition.
The bottom of my head was covered with a kind of metal mask leaving only my hair and part of my forehead exposed, the mask also covered my blue eyes with white goggles.
Looking at my left arm, I checked the timer I had created whose only job was to mark the time of use and recharge of the Omnitrix.
I only had to wait two minutes to use the Omnitrix again, fortunately, the whirlwind that had swallowed Clayface would give me at least one minute.
Indeed so it was, the whirlwind stopped after a minute spreading Clayface into several pieces which quickly began to accumulate until Clayface was standing very upset.
"Cursed blue insect, where you hide!" Looking from my hiding place, I saw how he began to move his arms in the shape of a hammer, destroying everything in his way.
[T/N: I don't know which version of Clayface this is but it doesn't seem like the gentleman I know.]
Hearing the destruction he was causing and his screams, he could only wait for time to pass quickly.
"Maybe I should build a weapon or something" Looking from my hidden nook, I saw that he began to head towards the exits, so I had to find a way to stop him.
I was half a minute away, so breathing, I went out to the open.
"Hey Clayface, come here!" Clayface turned to see me with rage masking his face, when he turned he quickly attacked me with his arms stretched out, I barely had time to avoid his first attack.
The next few seconds I devoted to evading his attacks, when time was running out I dove behind a pot while Clayface's arm destroyed it, at that moment the Omnitrix turned green.
I quickly began to look for a specific silhouette, finding it I pressed the plate, and in a flash, my body began to change.
When the smoke caused by Clayface's last attack scattered in front of him was a humanoid made of rock and fire, his head was on fire leaving a kind of red plate as a face.
"I think it's time to finish this Clayface, by the way, I've never said this before but, my name is Heatblast!" Done quiping I point at him with my open palms from which a powerful current of fire came out.
Clayface was barely able to scream before his body began to lose consistency causing it to become liquid, it took a few seconds for the Supervillano to be reduced to a flake of wax.
[T/N: ...ok, I didn't know Clayface was made of wax. I guess this is an AU sooo.]
"Looks like everythings done" Looking around I noticed that several guards approached cautiously as they saw the charcoal.
"I...Is it over?" hearing the question from one of them they look at me.
"Yes, you just need a package for him," a guard approached with a radio.
"The special containment brigade is on its way...What was your name?" I could notice that, though cautious, they were grateful for my help.
"My name is Heatblast, thank you for the information, I'll be taking my leave." Looking at the hole destroyed by the initial explosion, I prepare to leave.
"Thank you very much Heatblast, without you, we could all have died today." Looking at their grateful faces I gave them a head movement before leaving, shooting out of the place with a pillar of flames.

After the brigade captured Clayface they left the city, so I had heard in the news their destination was to take him to Gotham City, thinking through it for a while I decided to follow them to Gotham to make sure they arrived safely.
Thanks to my speed I reached the brigade when they began to enter the city at night, as I followed them I was quite surprised at the difference between Gotham and Jump City.
The city he had taken as his residence was beautiful and bright even at night, yet Gothim was a depressing city at night.
After a few minutes, we arrived at the Arkham Asylum on the outskirts of the city, as soon as I saw them entering the building I turned, it was time to return to my city.
As I ran around the city something drew my attention, in a rather large building I noticed the silhouette of a person, out of mere curiosity I decided to see if it was someone who needed help.
In a few seconds, I found myself running through the building until I reached the roof, thanks to the XLR8 visor I could see who was the owner of the silhouette since the little light did not help me.
"Batman?!" When he heard my voice, the silhouette approached, until Batman, the Gothic crusader, was in front of me.
"What are you doing in Gotham? Heatblast" his voice came out with some suspicion but I decided to be honest as I had nothing to hide.
"It's surprising that you noticed that I'm the same person, although clearly the symbol gives me away."
"My name is XLR8 in this form and I came to Gothim to make sure that Clayface didn't escape and return to Jump City."
"How did you know that the fire wouldn't kill Clayface?" His question intrigued me a little.
"I didn't know, my priority was--" the Omnitrix warning warned me that I was going to go into recharge mode as It started blinking "Don't worry about what will happen in a moment"
Just finished speaking a green flash blinded Batman causing him to get alert and throw something that I could barely evade.
"WHOA, calm down Batman!" Luckily for me, the change in my voice surprised Batman enough to stop.
Batman stayed in attack position but he was just watching me.
"I told you not to be surprised, I present myself as I am...Omnaz at least when I am a human" While studying me he left his attack posture while he got straight in front of me.
"You're a boy," that wasn't a question.
I let go of a sigh "I'm fifteen years old, look, I just came to see that Clayface was locked up, in a few minutes I'll leave Gotham so you don't have to bother."
A moment later I warned myself when I saw him pull something out of his waist, yet I was surprised when I pulled out some kind of device.
"This is an intercom, I've been watching you since you appeared, you seem to have good intentions, if you need help call" taking the device and examining it for a moment before saving it in my pants
"Thank you, though watching is weird" A moment later Batman walked away from me before jumping and leaving.
"Interesting first encounter" While I was waiting for the Omnitrix to charge, I had no choice but to appreciate the city of Gotham.
Several minutes later some Gothamite citizens could see a large creature in the shape of an insect moving away from the city.

A year and a half later...
During the time he had been defending Jump City the STAR laboratories decided to open a branch thanks to the low crime rate.
Thanks to the constant use of the Omnitrix the time of use had increased to one hour and the charging time had decreased to five minutes, so I was constantly patrolling the city.
On one of those patrols I noticed that it looked like an explosion was happening in the lab, so using XLR8 I ran to see what was going on.
When I arrived a part of the building was engulfed in flames, so I ran around the fire causing it to extinguish.
Finishing with that, I entered the building to see if anyone was injured.
Mysteriously, when I finished checking everything out, there were no signs that anyone had been present when the explosion occurred, and as the firefighters and the police arrived I approached them.
"XLR8, what happened?" I was wondering if some officers would know the names of my aliens.
"I Came when I noticed the explosion, after extinguishing the fire I had a look around, but when I checked the building I found no one inside" As the firefighters were preparing to check the stability of the building the police began to clear the area.
"Probably it is an act of vandalism since they only destroyed part of it, thank you for your help, we will take care of the rest." giving him a greeting, and to some of his companions and firefighters as well, I zipped away.
A few miles away from the lab I returned to my human form when the Omnitrix notified me of a call.
He was Batman's communicator. "Yes, Omnaz speaking, what do you need Batman?" When he finished speaking, Batman's deep voice sounded.
"I just heard about an explosion in the STAR LABS building in your city, I would like you to tell me what you know" Without any hassle I began to tell him everything I had seen.
When I finished, he spoke again after a few minutes, "You know what this laboratory specializes in." I knew that, when they opened it, the chief of police had mentioned it to me.
"It specializes in meteorology and natural disasters" Batman didn't answer for a moment when hearing that.
"In recent months, I've monitored several attacks on laboratories around the world, all are somehow related to the defense of the planet or climate change" That was suspicious, it could be ruled out that it was an act of vandalism.
"Then something else is happening, you need my help in your investigation" Although I knew I should defend the city if the planet was in danger I should help.
"For the moment, no, but I may need it later, stay alert." A moment after the Omnitrix goes silent.
After that I decided to take a break so it was time to go home, looking for an alíen on the Omnitrix I decided to go flying "Stink Fly" A moment later in a blinding flash a large insect was found on the street.
In one thought I was flying very quickly to the island where I had appeared almost two years ago.
Without anyone noticing it the island now had a small cave where Stink Fly was landing, in a green flash I found myself in my human form.
The cave had a metal door which, as I approached, showed a lens that scanned me, a moment later it opened, letting me enter the house that I had built.
Inside the cave was protected by metal, it was large enough for two people to live, and had a built-in kitchen, a bathroom, a small laboratory, and two pretty comfortable rooms.
"Well, I think I'm going to sleep for a few hours before my next patrol," walking to the main bedroom, I could only think of the possible ramifications of today's attack.

Three months later...

While I was taking a patrol break, I was listening to the report about the UN summit where it had apparently been decided that Superman could take care of everyone and therefore there were no more high-power missiles.
While many people supported the idea, I was not entirely in agreement but it was a good choice for humanity.
[T/N: ...Why am I getting injustice vibes!]
Nevertheless, surprise meteorites pulled me out of my mind as I saw them fall towards the city park.
"-Possibly need strength this time-" Touching the Omnitrix I selected the silhouette that had four arms and in a flash a large red four-eyed and four-armed being was standing over the building before clearing it with a jump.
When I arrived, I encountered a large group of people curious about the huge meteorite that the firefighters were extinguishing,
As soon as I got close enough people let me pass by recognizing my old black shirt and the symbol of the Omnitrix, as a police officer approached me "Four arms." I gave him a nod "There are no injured and the firefighters put out the fire but we don't know exactly what that thing is."
A moment later a jet of steam came out expelled from the meteorite as everything began to tremble.
"Everybody get away from the area!" while the firefighters and the police were moving away, carrying civilians something came out of the rock.
It was some sort of white leg, quickly another followed it, then another, and it was at that taking moment that what looked like a tripod came out of the meteorite.
It was completely white with some red spots. "What the hell is that?" listening to the cop near me I had the same doubts.
"I don't know, but I wonder if it will be peaceful" A moment later I had my answer when a beam of lightning was fired at a patrol car destroying it.
When the explosion passed I quickly prepared to attack but first I had to talk to the nearby police officers "Get everyone away from the area including the other police officers" Hoping that they would listen to me, I jumped onto the tripod.
Before he could shoot me he received a couple of blows that struck him, as I was preparing for a hammer blow, the lightning was fired again, however, the target was me.
I was launched from the tripod and ended up colliding with a building and falling "That beams pretty power, fortunately, my skin is very resistant" rising and looking at the trípod which pointed at me again.
When it shot I was ready so I received the lightning covering me with my four arms, the result only hurt a little while my skin released a little smoke.
"My turn" Taking big jumps I began to evade the beams until I reached one of the legs and took it.
Quickly and vigorously, the result was to upend it, causing the tripod to fall to the ground, taking a piece of metal from the destroyed patrol car, I jumped over and stabbed it.
The slightly hot metal passed through the machine like butter and ended up with it.
As I took a breath and listened to the people coming up again thanking me between screams and applause, I could also hear reporters announcing how the alien threat had ended.
Unfortunately, a large shockwave interrupted the celebration when several meteors began to fall nearby.
Touching the Omnitrix I ask "Use Time" While blinking a robotic voice answers "OMNITRIX CAN BE USED FOR FIVE MINUTES MORE" Well I had enough time if I hurried.
I jumped closer to the cops who were beginning to speak to their station, but when I saw them, they stopped, "All civilians must move quickly away from the areas of impact, I will try to bring all these things to one place," greeting me, all the officers began to act.
"Well, I must move fast and effectively" Cracking my neck, I jumped in the direction of the nearest meteor.

Three hours and forty-six minutes later...
----------------
I found myself breathing heavily as I hid in a collapsed building surrounded by some city SWAT officers, many of whom were injured but still wanted to defend their homes.
"Omnaz, here" Lifting my face I took the bottle of water from the hand of an officer.
"Thanks...this is making me thirsty" Touching a button of my mask made an opening for my mouth so I started to quickly drink the water.
"These things never stop coming, for every one you destroy two replace it" The SWAT officer was right those things came faster than he could destroy them.
Leaving the bottle, I looked at them all, noticing that they were looking at me with hope, "It doesn't matter if they come, as long as I can fight, I will" Those words encouraged them.
As I got up, I prepared to turn into Four Arms when a voice in my head stopped me, "Batman and Superman need your help to end this invasion, I'm sending you the coordinates of their location." A moment later the voice disappeared and the image of a mountainous place came to my mind.
A cop waves his hand in front of my face when he sees me not moving. "Omnaz, are you all right?" Blinking, I look at him before I drop the Omnitrix and touch my head.
"Yes, a voice gave me some coordinates to meet with Superman and stop this invasion" Those words encouraged everybody but a cop noticed my hesitation.
"You're not sure you should go, are you?" Looking at it, I found the oldest cop among those who were there.
"You need my help here, but Superman does too" All the cops looked at each other before standing up and standing firm, the SWAT leader and the senior officer advanced.
"Look, we'll take care of the civilians," the SWAT officer said.
"It is pure strategy, attack the source of the attack, and we'll defend this city" Looking at the determination of all these men I could only smile before touching the Omnitrix and choosing the alien indicated.
In a quick flash of light XLR8 was in front of all the officers who were ready to fight.
"Don't attack, I'll come back as soon as possible" As everyone bid farewell I ran out of the area quickly ignoring the tripods, my goal was to get with Batman and Superman.

A few minutes later...
----------------
I was near the location that I was told when a large number of explosions indicated I was close.
As I quickly climbed a mountain, I encountered tripod-like flying machines attacking what I thought was a Jet owned by Batman.
Speeding up prepared me for when they passed near me, when I began to fall, a ship was below me so I landed on it, preparing my claws for the attack, causing serious damage.
As I began to fall I jumped on another, yet one shot got me causing me to fall
"That hurt" When Batman's Jet was damaged I got up ready to run but a green energy bubble stopped me.
The owner of such light turned out to be an African American man wearing a black suit with green highlights, a moment later he was on the wing of the ship, fortunately, he was supported by a woman with wings.
"This world is becoming more and more strange" Already recovered I ran to where the green man had put Batman's Jet.
"Batman, are you okay?" I saw Superman, the woman with wings, the green man, and another green being helping Batman get out of his jet.
"I thought you were in Jump City defending it," I looked at him and answered.
"A voice in my head told me that you and Superman would need help to end this" which caused him to look at the green being before he spoke.
"I understand" A moment later I had to take him and move to avoid a ship that had fallen in the place where we were before.
"Very close" As I saw the woman with wings fall, another woman in very interesting clothes came saving her from a few shots.
Both were protected by the ma from the green light when the damaged ship fell on them.
Seeing that for the moment they didn't need my help I touched the Omnitrix symbol returning to my human form in a flash.
Noting that Batman studied me a few moments before mentioning something "You need body armor, for when you're human" Unfortunately for me he was right.
A moment later, with all the ships destroyed, they all began to approach as a red blur arrived with us.
"Hey, Bats, I think this is yours." The blur turned out to be The Flash, the fast hero who was carrying the destroyed wing of Batman's Jet.
But when he tried to flirt with the woman in multicolored clothes, the little respect I had for him disappeared.
[T/N: HEY! SIMPING AFTER WONDER WOMAN IS PERFECTLY NORMAL, SHE'S LITERALLY AN OLYMPIAN!]
As the now-known Princess Diana of the Amazons and the Winged Woman spoke, the African American man approached me in a very presumptuous way.
"What is a child doing here? Kid, you should be somewhere safe" Those words bothered me, luckily Batman intervened between us.
"This boy as you call him is Omnaz, Green Lantern, the resident hero of Jump City." Those words seemed to be a shock to the so-called Lantern, while Superman greeted me with his hand and Flash started running around me.
"You need something Flash" my voice stopped him from what he was doing standing in front of me.
"So you're the one who turns into that blue being...XLR8 No, I have doubts about how fast you are" Before he could continue talking Batman interrupted us all.
"Enough, now is not the time to talk, there's a global invasion going on" That stopped Diana and the girl with wings talking.
"It is true, it was very fortunate that everyone appeared at this moment" Superman was interrupted by the green man.
"No, you're wrong, I called everybody telepathically, I'm J'onn J'onzz and all of us here are the last chance on this planet." Flash started to speak.
"Normally I catch everything very quickly, but could you explain in detail what you mean" Before that, we all saw J'onn.
A moment later, while Superman was repairing the wing of Batman's Jet, J'onn again explained to us that he was from Mars intending to warn us about the invasion.
He took care to tell us his story which was linked to that of those invaders, they seemed to be a very destructive alien life.
"Unfortunately, some Earth astronauts accidentally opened their prison by releasing them" I recalled that shortly before arriving the news was talking about some astronauts.
"Wait! Those astronauts never mentioned finding life on Mars" After that I couldn't help releasing a sigh that drew everyone's attention.
"You didn't listen to J'onn, they can take different forms, which makes you think that it was humans who returned" My words seemed to embarrass The Flash.
"The boy is right, from that moment they likely infiltrated the world" The word boy spoken by Lantern bothered me.
"Because there were no Martians they fixed their sight on earth, I tried to warn the humans but they caught me as the invaders disabled their defenses" which explained the different attacks in the laboratories.
"That's why they sabotaged the deep space surveillance network, so no one would notice that they were reaching Earth." Lantern advanced when Batman finished speaking.
"We must stop them before it's too late," I could notice their eyes shining.
"It may be too late," J'onn's words did not give much hope.
Without our knowledge, various machines began to appear in different parts of the earth.
But we noticed when a large black cloud began to grow as it covered part of the sky.
"What is that?!" Diana was the first to ask the question we all had.
"It's already started," the cloud was beginning to approach us.
"The invaders are nocturnal so they blocked the sun to live in eternal darkness" As J'onn explained to us the cloud grew rapidly.
"Wait, you can't prepare another batch of gas like the first time" It seemed like Flash had a brain.
"No, a Mars plant is needed, the sample I brought was destroyed at the time of my capture" which left only one option.
"Then it remains only to destroy those factories" Diana was the first to propose the most obvious solution however Lantern was again presumptuous.
"Young girl, that's not an easy job"
[T/N: HA! She, Shes F*CKING ACIENT!]
Diana was ready to hit him. "The Amazons are born warriors, you want me to show you" Luckily Superman stopped them.
"It is not time to fight between us" Everyone supported him.
"Lantern you call him a kid and you're the one who acts most immature" That seemed to bother him more.
Feeling a glance I turned to meet with Batman, releasing a sighing whisper "-I didn't say anything-"
"We will need all the help possible" Superman calmed Lantern again.
"Well, since we will have several goals we must split into teams" Immediately Flash acted by impulse choosing Diana so Lantern released a sigh.
"I choose the teams" Lantern's voice discouraged Flash.
"Superman you and Hawkgirl will be a team" Now I knew the name of the woman with wings.
"Batman, you will go with the Amazon." Diana interrupted Lantern.
"I would actually like to be called Wonder Woman." Lantern only let out an annoyed sigh before continuing.
"Well Batman and Wonder Woman, Flash you will come with me, that leaves J'onn and Omnaz" At that moment I decided to speak.
"I would actually like to go alone, I saw some of J'onn's skills and I think they would be more adapted to those of Batman and Wonder Woman, my transformations would only obstruct him" As I explained Lantern seemed to consider my words.
"You're right I've seen some of those transformations, well we have the teams it's time to move" As everyone was preparing to go I touched the Omnitrix quickly choosing my way of traveling.
In a green flash, everyone saw Heatblast standing firm, although I noted that J'onn had taken a step away from me I didn't mention it while firing fire around me and a moment later raised hands causing a piece of earth to rise thanks to the fire.
"That...it's...incredible," ignoring the voice of Flash, I started moving towards Jump City, but I said goodbye first.
"Be careful" A moment later I came shot away thanks to the pressure of fire in my hands which pushed me faster.
When I got to Jump City, the difference between the speed of the XLR8 and Heatblast was remarkable, the journey had taken me almost twice the time.
But as soon as I arrived, I went straight to the machine that was in the central square.
As I approached, I encountered tripods protecting the way to the machine.
Two of them saw me and immediately began to shoot me, while I was evading, I was looking for a place to land, unfortunately, a shot had me thrown forcefully to the ground.
"Four arms has a lot of resistance, yet Heatblast isn't far behind" As I got up I saw a tripod leg that wanted to stomp me.
"Let's see what you think of this," pointing at it with both hands, two powerful pillars of flames covered it.
I was quite surprised by the effect, as soon as the flames reached it, it began to boil and burst into flames completely defeated.
When I got up, I looked at him, "The fire is quite effective, as soon as I'm done with the machine, I have to tell the others." Looking at the tripods that were approaching, I prepared myself as my hands began to burn strongly.
A few minutes later I was in front of the machine, and behind me, all the tripods were in flames.
The sound of footsteps made me turn around meeting two cops, "Heatblast, thank god you're here, we saw how you ended up with those machines!" The other officer followed where the other stopped.
"Do you already know how to stop this?"
"Yes, I have to destroy this machine and others that have appeared in the world, I need everyone to get as far away as they can from the area please" As soon as I saw them run far enough I prepared.
I pushed off to reach a considerable height, being in position to raise my hands in the air causing a fireball to start to grow rapidly, after a few seconds it was almost the size of the factory.
Without thinking about it, I threw, as soon as the factory was touched the flames consumed it, a few seconds were enough for everything to explode, sending me flying, colliding with a building.
After a few seconds, a green flash came out of the debris, and the civilians and officers who had witnessed it all began to run to it.
"Omnaz! Move the debris quickly!" Obeying the officer, everyone began to try to remove the debris, but one hand came out of a small mountain so everyone began to scratch in that place.
Thanks to the help of everyone I managed to get out in a few minutes "Thank you everyone" Back in the open I lay down while breathing.
"We must thank you!" some civilians supported the SWAT member who said that.
"It's true, as soon as you destroyed the machine the sun came out without counting all the machines that you destroyed before" taking a breath and listened to the graces of people as the sun shined on my face.
Having rested for a moment I got up a little in a hurry to call Batman "Batman, its Omnaz" a moment after the voice of Batman answered me.
"Omnaz, have you finished with your machine?" I could hear some noises behind his voice.
"Yes, Jump City is almost clean, I also found that they are pretty weak to fire" which seemed to attract Batman's attention.
"So you also discovered it, well I have a plan, I'll make J'onn communicate to us later telepathically, as you try to clear your city completely, Batman out" Well I already had my orders.
Looking at the civilians, I say to them, "I'll stay and clean up the city until they call me to finish this, officer, would you mind organising a search for the civilians and that everyone goes to a protected place."
"No problem, you're in charge of these things, we'll look for the civilians" Thanking him I turned into Heatblast to take out the tripods that were left in the city.

Hours later, Metropolis

When I had finally finished cleaning the city, Batman had decided to communicate with me, yet he had done so through J'onn's telepathy.
His plan required me to wait for him in Metropolis while the others came in to look for Superman and the Hawkgirl at the factory.
I had been waiting for a while when a sound alerted me, so I set up a warning or, rather, XLR8 set up the warning.
"XLR8, it's me" surprised to see how Batman could get out of the shadows as if traveling in them.
Lowering my guard I said, "Batman, it's a pleasure to see you, tell me, what's your plan?" When he got next to me, we both saw the big factory in the middle of the city.
"I studied a stone that makes the factory work and I built an apparatus that will reverse its ion charge, I just have to put it on the stone of that factory" This was a pretty good plan.
"That would end the factory but you'd think the sky cleared up fast enough for the sun to end them" Batman looked at me before taking out a small apparatus and showing it to me.
It looked like a scanner where the Heatblast image was surrounded by data.
"When you told me about its weakness with your flames, I scanned you, your flame radiates the same kind of radiation as the sun, which is why it's so effective" I didn't even know that about Heatblast.
"I understand, you destroy the machine while I take care of them when we start" We turn to see the factory before continuing.
"I'll be in the factory, I need you to be on it, I'll try to give you a signal" Having the plan I saw him go, a few minutes later when I noticed that he had already entered I moved towards the Factory, at that moment I noted how a small ship entered it.
"I've got my entry" Finding the best place I turn back into my human form to be ready when everything starts while watching everything.
A few minutes later I was about to blow my cover when I saw J'onn being tortured by the leader of the invaders, fortunately, Batman gave me the signal so I quickly transformed.
The ship prevented anyone from seeing the green flash, and in a second Heatblast was falling to get behind all those white beings.
"It's over," my voice made both them and the other heroes see me.
As they shot me with their lasers I burned them with my flames, I had the advantage that they could not hurt me, the few who avoided my attacks jumped straight into the sunlight so they were burned anyway.
J'onn was starting to fight the leader of the invasion as Batman freed the others, in a second we all found ourselves fighting against them while there were some holes in the factory allowing the sun to enter.
A moment later a scream from J'onn made him notice that the leader was beginning to escape in his ship while he was falling unconscious.
"No, that's not" Driven by my flames I reached the ship before pointing at it with both hands "You shouldn't have invaded our home." A second later, a powerful flame blasted the ship.
The force forced the ship out of the factory and a second later it exploded killing the leader and his subjects in it.
As I watched the explosion, I noticed that the factory was beginning to collapse.
"We must get out of here before this explodes!" We all listened to Wonder Woman as we prepared to escape.
Superman made us notice the civilians trapped so that while the others were releasing them I found myself killing the few invaders who were attacking us.
When Superman and Flash put them all together, Lantern put them in a green bubble, while Superman took Flash out and Wonder Woman was taking Batman.
For my part, I went out without any trouble riding a piece of rock wrapped in flames.
As soon as everyone was outside the factory exploded while it collapsed completely.
Meanwhile, the main ship of the invaders escaped from the ground.
"We have to let them go so no more will come" my question was answered by Superman.
"Yes, they lost and have nothing to do on earth, let them go" Superman commanded.
In the meantime, the black cloud gradually disappeared from the city, letting the sun pass.
"This is not yet over, we have to eliminate those who remain on the planet" Lantern was right.
"Quickly, Batman and Omnaz discovered their weakness" A moment later we all began to prepare to go clean the world.

"With the destruction of the Metropolis factory Superman and the other heroes are dedicating themselves to ending the little resistance that remains in the cities"
Some images showed Wonder Woman destroying a tripod.
"The invaders who remained on the land were quite weaker in the face of the heroes who were destroying them."
The Green Lantern was engulfed while destroying some factories with the help of the Hawkgirl.
"They have also been helping with the reconstruction of cities"
Superman and Four Arms were recorded as they moved large debris releasing people or cleaning streets.
"There are still doubts as to whether we should leave our defenses as we are now"

Three months later...
------------------------
Four arms was found helping builders move large amounts of building materials.
"Three months have passed and the city still has a lot to build" A warning from the Omnitrix pulled me out of my thoughts, it seemed like a call from Batman.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I have to leave you for a while, I need to do something and then I'll come back," the workers watched with a smile as I jumped, once far enough I returned to my human form.
" Omnaz, here's," the voice of Batman answered me.
"I need your presence, there is something I want to show you, I will pass by you in a moment" I replied.
"Of course, I'll be waiting." Two minutes later Batman's Jet appeared above me and a rope allowed me to climb it.
"Where are we going?" Batman didn't answer me until we were very high above the city.
"You'll see it in a second" I was surprised when the Jet flew into space but I was shocked to see some kind of spaceship.
"And... that wasn't there three months ago, was it?" Even without seeing him, I knew Batman had a smile.
"I work fast" When we entered the place I was surprised as Batman allowed me to visit the whole place.
After a while, I was walking with Flash and Wonder Woman to the control room.
"Bats has a lot of style" Coming out of the elevator we meet Flash and Superman talking.
"And you haven't even seen the kitchen, Moca Ice Cream?" As I listened to Flash speaking, looking out into space, for some reason I felt a drop of nostalgia when I saw him.
"Impressive Batman, but what does this have to do with all of us" It seemed like Lantern and Hawkgirl had arrived.
Superman was the one who replied, "Recently I thought I could protect the world alone, I was wrong, working together we all saved the world" Looking at us he continued talking.
"I believe that if we remain united we will be a force capable of working for the ideals of peace and justice" Flash decided to make a funny comment.
"What?! Like a group of super friends," Superman responded with a smile.
"Rather a League of Justice" Walking towards Superman Flash spoke.
"Do you have any idea what a chore that sounds like...but maybe you're right with everybody behind you this could work, count on me" While they greeted Lantern didn't hesitate to go ahead
"And with me," the Hawkgirl followed me a moment later.
"Me, too" Wonder Woman doubted for a moment before approaching determined, we were only missing Batman and me.
"What do you say?" when everybody even Batman saw me just scratched my nervous neck.
"Well...I started recently and I'm used to being small with Jump City but no doubt I enjoyed working with you...So if so then count on me" walking while staying close to them before joining my hand with that of everybody.
"I'm not very social, but if you need me, you can call me and I'll be there."
"Understood, we agree" Wonder Woman interrupted Superman by noticing something.
"Wait where is J'onn" She was right our friend from Mars was not here, a moment later Superman came out flying to the other side of the ship.
A moment later he returned with J'onn at his side so we approached to talk to him.
The Justice League was complete.
